In 1999 I was blessed with a pottery wheel. I had wanted one since high school and 19 years later my goal was realized. I don’t have a dedicated studio, but I am able to get it out and throw pottery in my mud room/laundry room. I try to get it out every year or so and leave it out for several days to a few weeks. I keep it out until I have thrown at least one kiln load (my kiln lives in the basement). In the summer of 2014, my goal was to see if I could throw larger bowls. I had been “size challenged” before that point. I am making some progress now, but then it went back to storage until the next time.
