So in 2012, my five years were up. I made my plans to return to Cannon Beach. Obstacles abound when following the Lord. I almost cancelled until He confirmed my destiny. Another trip of treasured memories followed. I did some research and made some contacts concerning my book. The people were one of the gifts God had for me on this trip.

Meeting you when you visited Cannon Beach is one of my special memories.
You were planted there to greet and encourage me, I’m convinced. Hope to meet again in the future.
People who have never traveled alone often describe their first solo trip as an almost religious experience. To take in new surroundings unfiltered by the prejudices, tastes or preferences of a traveling companion can be heady stuff. Traveling alone gives you the chance to indulge yourself fully.
I agree wholeheartedly on many counts! Taking in new surroundings “unfiltered by the prejudices of a traveling companion” alone is a very new experience. But when your traveling companion is the Creator of the beauty, it is so much more personal.
